I also personally like the reusable coffee filter (reusable my K cup) as it is definitely more cost effective than the use and throw ones.

This means that the water tank needs to be filled up, heated and made to run a full cycle without any coffee pods in it before you officially make your first cup of coffee. The LCD display will let you know that your machine is ready. Believe me…the wait is definitely worth it.
